Niesz Koziol
Energy Advisor
Niesz’s passion for sustainable buildings began in her teens with a realization that energy-
conscious construction is key to achieving harmony with our natural environment. Armed with a
Bachelor of Engineering in Building Engineering, Niesz discovered early on that a conventional engineering career wasn’t aligned with her aspirations.
Driven by a hands-on approach, and inspired by the natural building movement, Niesz ventured
into the world of construction to achieve a Red Seal designation as an electrician. This on-the-
ground experience complemented her theoretical knowledge of building science, paving the way
for a seamless transition into the role of an energy advisor with Shoreline Building Performance.
